Why I follow: Devesh, in his words, is a 'Traveller from India living the Lagosian adventure." I follow because I get to travel to Lagos without a ticket. The city is vibrant and colorful and Devesh's photography makes it all come to life.

Devesh captures the people, the buildings, the food, the street art, and the life of the people of Lagos. It's been a wonderful journey so far, and Devesh has been an interesting travel companion showing me the sights and sounds of a land far away. I especially love the tiny details he spots, captures and posts... especially the hand-painted art on cars, vans, autos, walls and shop fronts.

Why I follow: Geri is an iPhoneographer who uses only her iPhone to take pictures and then creates paintings out of them with editing apps. Very interesting, don't you think?

Initially her pictures weren't too much like paintings (interesting nevertheless) but recently her work has just leap-frogged... every picture she posts is a beautiful painting. Follow the Painterly Mobile Artist Geri Centonze on IG or check out her blog; her work is very interesting and very very beautiful. She also shares tips, tricks and sometimes the entire formula of how she created her art (which i don't know how many people would be generous enough to do). She also features the work of other mobile artists on her blog; another reason to go visit if you love mobile art.

Why I follow: Gopal chronicles everyday life of a city i have grown to love over the years. Buildings, junkyards, people, fashion, typography, markets, newspapers - it's a fascinating look at a city. It is like walking through a virtual museum that chronicles the different cross-sections of life in the biggest, baddest, maddest city of them all - Bombay.

I am a big fan of: The way he writes. His captions are always interesting and he sometimes writes slightly longer stories that are even more interesting.

Why i follow: I get to see pictures of people and a human side of NY and not just buildings or people walking on a busy street. Finally!

I love this Instaaccount not just for the pictures but for the account of the conversations Brandon has with the people he shoots. (I love listening people who have a funny bone, since i don't have one.) The people in these pics said:

• "I'm currently working the Renaissance Fair circuit." "Cool. Playing music?" "No. I dress up like a pirate and sell boots."
• Seen on the Upper West Side
• I asked her 15 questions. She made this face 15 times. Then I walked away.
• "What's going on here?" "Just taking a walk."
