The weekend gone by

The last weekend was a beautiful surprise. Remember i posted a poster that i found on Pinterest to 'Devour old films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows.'

Can you believe i actually managed to do most of the stuff on this list without even trying?

On Saturday night, I ended up watching The Sound of Music for the nth time and singing tunelessly with the songs. On Sunday, I watched a movie (This Means War), drove across the city, snacked on Hyderabadi delicacies, visited the Chowmahalla Palace and realized there was more to it than the one beautiful hall we always see during concerts. Old photographs, paintings, gorgeous chandeliers, architecture, vehicles, fountains with geese, architecture, light and shadows - it had it all.

So all in all, i had a brilliant weekend and am super-happy about it. I hope you had a lovely one too :D
