I am learning to photoshop

I have been using Picasa all this while to edit my pictures. While it's really simple to use and good for basic stuff like cropping / straightening (i use that a lot) / filling lights, i want to be able to do more with my pictures.

So even though i self-taught myself to photoshop about ten years ago, i have forgotten everything and needed to learn. Unfortunately, it's more complex now or maybe i have dumbed down. Sure enough, Google helped me find a good starting point.
