Mirza Ghalib - a hugely popular and highly acclaimed series that played on TV when i was too young to appreciate it. I remember by college days when my ex-boyfriend and another friend used to bore me with Mirza Ghalib and Jagjit Singh. Over the years my tastes / sensitivities have changed and now i am planning to get the DVD set.
My favorite Ghalib numbers are:
1. Hazaaron Khwahishein Aise
2. Har ek baat pe kehte ho tum ke tu kya hai
3. Aah ko chahiye
4. Ek brahman ne kaha hai
Another song i totally dig - tere khushbu mein basey khat - sung by Jagjit Singh (but not written by Ghalib). This one i liked it even then.
