Paisley Tuesday - In stitches

Reminds me of my mother's collection 

of embroidery books 

that were mostly foreign in origin. 

And I don't know why she even had them. 

Neither did we have any foreign connections 

nor did she embroider. 

in any case I think she passed them on to me. 

why?

i don't embroider. that's why.
