Ok, enough ranting, crying and feeling sorry for myself. This blog is crying out to be more. For ever since i can remember i have made everything else but those concerning me 'top priority'. 


*Work is there but i am going to stop obsessing about it, well at least i will stop obsessing about it all the time and focus on other things. What other things? That my friends, is something that is still 'work in progress' but you will find out by and by.


*I had this job offer that popped in out of the blue, but i have decided now not to take it up because that is not what is in my scheme of things. I was considering it only for the moolah i could make, but methinks i should stop getting lured by the lucre and follow my heart. My heart definitely says no to this.


*I did up the Sunny Side Up office but did not post pictures. That will happen soon. Plus decor advice coming up soon.  


*In the coming days and the following year, i am going to try hard to change a lot of things. I am going to make sure that this blog is more. More of me, more on design, more on movies, more on style and a lot less on me. 


*What are the changes you want in your life?

Let me first get rid of the elephant in the room - Yes Ranbir Kapoor is cute. Very much so.

Story: The story of Harpreet Singh Bedi, fresh out of college where he got bad grades, in his first job as a salesman where he can't make the grade either, who does not let go of his ideals and does not compromise on his principles. Does he move from zero to hero?  

My 5 cents: The movie crackles largely, though, i admit, there are a few parts where it fails to fly, but a fabulous film nonetheless. 

I connected because: It reiterates 2 of my personal views on business and something i bore my team with all the time! | Be honest - Don't lie to the customer or sell them something they don't really need. | Be nice - Deliver service, sales will happen.

Lines i liked: Otherwise, I'll remain the joker Sardarji and you the item girl. | I have never  heard of a Sardar who is a thief.| Even Superman has to take risks. I am, just a salesman.

My take: Go watch it. 

The week that went by...

Sunny Side Up has moved to 13, Wahab Nagar.
Yes, they loved the office. It looks sunny, cheery and happy. Despite all the hiccups, last minute redos and the fights with the carpenter, i am very happy with how it looks.
I have asked Raam and Somak to take pictures with their fancy cameras. But, i guess i will have to do it myself soon. Gotta move fast though before they mess it too badly.
I fell down on Sunday. I am wearing a crepe bandage around the ankle. Still.
I was gifted a phone by the SSU boys. It's great. Yes, I already dropped it once today. It has GPRS, a 2 MP Camera, Bluetooth and enough technology to keep me really happy. Will someone gift me a Bluetooth handsfree?
Did not log on the net since the last 5 days. I did not miss it.
